Our BALI IDC is longer and more Comprehensive than is required by PADI Standards we undertake the BALI IDC over 10 Full Days with an additional afternoon for Paperwork and Orientation plus a full day for the EFR Instructor Course - PADI Standards maintain a minimum of 7 contact days for the Non e-learning Curriculum .

All candidates are given 1-on-1 counselling and guidance during All the programs and we guarantee you a group size of 6:1 max with your PADI Course Director on the IDC - a ratio that is more personal and which brings dividends as well as rewards to each Candidates in Training .

IDC Prep : this FREE upon request two day orientation includes meeting and working with our resident Course Director . This prep course includes an overview of your , DM -Dive Knowledge Exams , Skills , Rescue assessment and general Dive skills during a fun dive .

Add 3-4 days for Our FREE IDC Prep course prior to the start of your IDC Program for extra assistance ( upon request) .

BALI IDC - Instructor Development Course includes a two part format firstly the Assistant Instructor Course ( 4 days) The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first portion of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). You'll not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional, but you'll also start learning the PADI System of diver education. if you are already an A.I then you only need to complete the following " OWSI " Open Water Scuba Instructor Course ( 6 days ). To Attend the BALI IDC :

-Be at least 18 years old and be a PADI Divemaster or Similar Or a Instructor from another Agency for 6 Months .

-Have a current Dive Medical within the past 12 months - be a certified diver for at least 6 months and have completed and logged 60 Dives.

-100 logged Dives to be certified as a OWSI . Submit proof of CPR and first aid training within the last 24 months.

-Must also be certified as EFR Instructor Prior to certification as a PADI OWSI

For the IDC Candidates, we'll collect you from your arrival point and take you to the Resort Location . Then if you have not already started you'll need to work on your IDC SWOT and Business Plans etc with your BALI IDC Crewpack MATERIALS underarm . Hopefully you would have brought with you a good work ethic and most of all a sense of humour ?

The first couple of days includes a Free "upon request" IDC Preparation course which includes Theory , Skills , Lift bag use , Knots and etc or Efr Refresher if necessary . Then we'll move into the Emergency First Response Instructor course a Full day course depending on the class size, you'll learn how to teach the course plus teach to Demonstration quality Skills for both Adult - Child and Infant.

Then next day we move into the 11 day BALI IDC with the IDC Orientation , skill circuit etc then it's approximately 10 more days of Fun and hard work , you'll make mistakes " So what " it's all about learning and being coached . Some of you will score a 1 some a 5 "Great" you'll learn from each presentation and each other . The Score of 1 is where your sense of humour comes in .

We take a personal interest in all my BALI IDC Candidates, making sure your on the right track with your Skills , Presentations . Bali Breizh Divers want to develop you for a Dive Career not just get you through the I.E . We'll extend my IDC a few days if required to develop a more relaxed experience with the ( FREE - BALI IDC Prep ) course a more positive stress free environment. We'll make sure you absorb the concepts and information and we encourage Questions and note taking , We'll even include the Notebook and pen . We'll learn in the 2 meter Pool on BALI BREIZH DIVERS Confined Water and Open Water training is 10 minute from the Dive Shop this will enhance your abilities for dealing with both environments and using surface markers and learning about Open positioning students around the Surface marker to keep boat traffic away as you may not always be teaching in a Pool environment .

Our BALI IDC sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 Candidates .

This enhances the learning experience and you'll work with your fellow Candidates all the time helping each other as a team effort .Like all things in life preparation is the key to success, as a Divemaster you've learnt the standard Dive Theory and have the same level of Theory as an Instructor prior to the BALI IDC, it is not the job of the Course Director to teach you what you should already know but we will remediate as necessary to fine tune your knowledge . So review your Knowledge Workbook and Divemaster Exams , Tables & E-rdp-ML's etc .

We offer more Confined water - Open water as well as Classroom Knowledge Development Presentations than is required by the PADI Standards - Nothing is left to chance !

Our BALI IDC Modern A/C Multimedia Classroom, Pool and Open water area and dedicated BALI IDC Only Dive Boat are all in One Amazing location.

During the IDC you'll learn how to present a number of different Teaching Presentation including Knowledge Development in the Classroom, Confined Water in the Pool or Beach area and Open water on one of the local dive sites .The presentation will be from any of the PADI Outlined Standard Courses , mainly the O/W Diver and Rescue Diver and Adventure Dives . This will be guided by fully understanding the PADI Instructor Manual Standards and General Procedures and paper work , course record files and Pic - certification procedures.You'll practice your Rescue Skills and complete a DSD Workshop as well as practice Knot's and Lift Bag use Also we will challenge your dive theory and PADI standards knowledge with a series of exams.You'll learn in more depth about problem anticipation /solving and response with students , how to brief skills , de-brief and counsel your future students as PADI Instructor.

After the IDC, and the course director approbation, you will pass you Instructor Examination; During 3 days you will be tested by PADI examiner.You will do some presentation that you practice many times in your IDC.

Then, after the IE, if you wish, we offer the MSDT courses ( including 5 specialities), to follow the course PADI MSDT with your course director, it's mean that you can teach those specialities, without waiting 25 certifications .
