Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is an island located east of Sanur. It can be reached 45 minutes by boat. This site offers divers clear water with corals in very good health and abundant life of fish, including pelagic; however, it is an island that has a lot of current.
Bali Breizh Divers offers diving sites such as Blue Corner, Toyapakeh, Malibu Point or Crystal Bay to see moon fish (mola-mola) in July to October, and Manta Point to see rayfish. The descriptions of the sites are as follows :
Crystal Bay
Crystal Bay is one of the most famous site in Bali. It is one of the only places in the world where you can see the giant moon fish and mola-mola about 3 meters from July to October. Pelagic come from the deep to be cleaned by gilt fish and angel fish which are waiting in the depth of between 50 and 25 meters. The water is very clear, and the bay which is 10 to 50 meters deep is very beautiful. Besides the mola-mola season, the diving is excellent because the site is very rich in coral reefs and you will see reef fish (different clownfish, oriental gatrins, anthas, triggerfish angelfish, cochet fish).....
Manta point
Manta Point is located in the southern of Nusa Penida. It is a ratchet which is located in a small bay near the cliff where ray fish are cleaned. You can see them almost throughout the year because the site is rich in plankton. Waiting their turn, they turn around divers playing with their bubbles. Our guides counted that there are15 of them.
